Freshwater Rinse: Always rinse your masks, snorkels, and fins thoroughly with clean, fresh water immediately after every ocean or pool session to remove salt, chlorine, and sand residue.

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Never leave your gear drying in direct sunlight. UV rays degrade silicone and cause colored plastics to fade or become brittle. Air-dry your gear in a cool, shaded spot.

No Harsh Chemicals: Do not clean your masks or fins with alcohol, bleach, or abrasive detergents. Mild dish soap and warm water are all you need.

Anti-Fog Prep: For brand new masks, remember to scrub the inside lens thoroughly with white toothpaste or a specialized mask scrub before your first dive to remove the factory silicone film and prevent fogging.

Storage: Store your fins flat (do not stand them vertically on the blade tips, as this bends the material) and keep your masks in a protective case away from heavy items.
